How Microneedling Works

The 12-pin needles create microscopic channels on the surface of the skin. These micro-channels stimulate the skin’s natural healing response, supercharging the production of collagen and elastin. Over time, this increased collagen production causes the skin to become firmer, gradually reduces the appearance of scars, and smooths out wrinkles.

Dr. Pen microneedling pens can be used multi-directionally, allowing treatments to be safely performed on the face, neck, neckline, stomach, thighs, or buttocks.

Important Compatibility Note

These cartridges feature a specific bayonet slot design. They are exclusively compatible with the Dr. Pen M5, M7, and N2 microneedling pens. They will not fit other models such as the M8 or A6. Each microneedling pen is designed to work with its own specific cartridge style.

Sterilisation and Safety Guide

Cartridges are strictly single-use only. Reusing cartridges or using dull needles can cause severe damage to the skin and increases the risk of cross-contamination.

To ensure your treatment is safe and hygienic, follow these sterilisation steps before every use:

1. Gather your supplies: gloves, isopropyl alcohol solution (70% or above), and a clean container.

2. Put on your gloves to prevent contamination.

3. Inspect the cartridge to ensure the needles are perfectly straight and free of any debris.

4. Pour the alcohol solution into the container and dip the needle head in, soaking it for a couple of minutes. (Alternatively, thoroughly spray the needle head if using a spray bottle).

5. Allow the cartridge to completely air dry before attaching it to your device.

6. Safely dispose of the cartridge immediately after your treatment.
